Worship at St. Mary's
"Anglican spirituality is essentially liturgical: It is a way of spiritual life founded in worship and fulfilled in worship; a spiritual life shaped by the word of God mediated to us in the cycles of the liturgical year. It is that liturgical pattern of proclaiming the Word of God, day by day, week by week, year by year, which has shaped the mind and heart of Anglican Christianity. And that pattern has remained substantially unchanged for more than a millenium."- The. Rev. Dr. Robert Crouse
The Christian life is rich at St. Mary's. At the center of all we do is our worship of God. It drives our mission and outreach, it underlies our classes and discussion groups, it builds the fellowship that feeds our social activities. Worship in the Episcopal Church is grounded in the ancient faith and patterns and traditions of the church. If you have never joined us for worship, you might want to read What to expect on Sunday.
Worship Times: Sunday at 9 (Rite I Morning Prayer with the Angelus), Sunday at 11:00 (Choral Eucharist), Holy Days announced on the Calendar.

The Sacramental LifeEpiscopal Church worship, our Liturgy, is sacramental. We believe that the rites of the Church are promises of the God's blessing made accessible through our prayers and the created material of God's world. The sacramental rites of the Church are:
The Readings for next SundayThe Episcopal Church uses the Revised Common Lectionary to guide which readings will be used on Sundays and major feast days. During some parts of the year, two different options are given for the Old Testament and Psalm readings. In the box below, if you see these two different options, we will be using the first set. A full calendar of feasts with the readings can be found at http://www.lectionarypage.net.

Daily PrayerAlthough Sunday morning Holy Eucharist is our primary day of celebration, all Christians are encouraged and invited to adopt the ancient pattern of Daily Prayer. Read more about it, and start praying it, on our Daily Prayer page.
Getting Married at St. Mary'sAre you looking for a place to celebrate your wedding? Our 120-year-old white wooden church is beautiful, inside and out. Our marriage liturgy is traditional and dignified. We would love to show you our warmth and hospitality by helping to make your wedding day both joyful and sacred. Read our page on Getting Married at St. Mary's, and then have a chat with Father Chris.
Christian Death and BurialChristians take seriously the reality of death, both as an end to this mortal life and as a glorious beginning of the soul's journey towards God. We believe in praying on behalf of the dead, because they too are still part of the church, and we believe that God will hear and answer our prayers for their continued growth and healing in the spiritual life beyond this mortal world. The Episcopal Church has services that help to bless the dying, comfort the grieving, and commend the dead into the arms of Almighty God. Learn more about those services here, and speak to Father Chris about recording your wishes for your funeral and burial.
